Friday BeerBuzz - 21 Mar 2014 - The Teaser
We had a lot of fun last Friday as we sampled Laughing Dog Anubis with owner Fred Colby. This beer is an amazing example of a strong porter, and the coffee flavor compliments it very nicely. JUST A REMINDER that you can sample a rare firkin of Laughing Dog Anubis at Sabatini’s Pizza tonight (3/19) for their Battle of the Beasts event. This event is open to the public and no tickets are necessary so be sure to stop by. The Laughing Dog firkin will be tapped at 7PM but the other beers begin pouring at 5PM.

We had an amazing time sharing a beer with Tomme Arthur. Of course it helps that we sampled his masterpiece blend, Deliverance. This Serpent’s Stout / Angel’s Share blend is amazing so be sure to get down to Sabatini’s and try some for yourself, and don’t forget Sabatini’s will even have Deliverance on draft very soon!

We had a blast celebrating Valentine’s Day with Matt DePrato from Liquid Hero Brewing. His Schweet Ale was the perfect beer for the holiday, and a really great beer that you should try for yourself.
